The Stories Behind the Appeals

Perhaps you remember one of these people, places or events. Here is exactly what I am looking for.

1970–1973 · LONDON W11

Former Colleagues at Filmatic Laboratories

I am offering a £10,000 reward to anybody who knew anyone who was working for Filmatic Laboratories, Lonsdale Road, London, W11, from 1970-1973, especially Mr Thorpe, Tim, Chris and Smithy Campbell.

1968–1974 · NEWSPAPER MEMORIES

The Local Wag and Mister Moses

I am also offering the same amount to anybody who remembers ‘The Local Wag’ and ‘Mister Moses’ from the ‘Middlesex Advertiser’ and ‘Daily Mirror’ between the years 1968 and 1974.

SEPTEMBER 1964 · BOGNOR REGIS

A Memorable Butlins Holiday

I will also pay £10,000 to anybody who can help me contact the group of young girls I met at Butlins Holiday Camp in Bognor Regis in September 1964. I was 16 years old, 6ft 3ins tall and incredibly handsome (Ha! Ha!). They first encountered me talking to frogs and we kept on bumping into each other throughout the holiday and had a laugh and joke together. I would especially like to hear from the one I made love to.

22 MARCH 1975 · ORIGINAL NEWSPAPER

An Original Newspaper from 1975

£10,000 will also be paid for any daily national newspaper dated 22nd March 1975. Getting one from an online newspaper supplier is no use, it has to be from someone who bought a copy, for some reason, in 1975 and now wants to part with it.

Meet Ian in Person

At 10.30 on the 1st Sunday of every month, I will be standing at the entrance to Westbourne Park tube station, wearing a green baseball cap.

Westbourne Park Tube Station

10:30am · First Sunday of Every Month

Look for the green baseball cap.

Do You Remember?

If you have information about any of these appeals, I would love to hear from you. Even a small detail could help me reconnect with someone from the past.
